Entering the U.S. - Baggage Claim |

- Once your passport is stamped and your documents are checked, you will go the baggage claim area, where your bags will arrive on a luggage carousel. Check the flight board for your flight number and go to the appropriately numbered carousel.
- If you were delayed in immigration, your bags may be taken off the carousel and lined up on the floor next to the carousel or with the airline counter. Once you have retrieved your bags, you will go through Customs.
- If your bags were damaged or lost, report it immediately to the airline and get a lost property report for insurance purposes. Give the name, address, and phone number of your housing and/or your employer, as this is where your luggage will be delivered once it is found.
